Born and raised in Southern California, Cory began his journey into fitness with youth sports (baseball and soccer) when he was only 5. He continued his passion for baseball as a pitcher in college until a shoulder injury, and surgery, caused him to hang up his cleats. Cory continued into fitness as he got into indoor cycling classes and strengthening. Upon graduating college, Cory began teaching indoor cycling and boot camp conditioning classes. He was later accepted into Officer Candidate School for the U.S. Navy. Unfortunately, shoulder complications ended his training short and was sent home to start over again.
Cory got more into strength and conditioning as he kept learning more about human physiology with strengthening, conditioning, and recovery methods. Because of his vast background in fitness, Cory has experience in preparation for college sports conditioning as well as preparation for basic military training. He has a passion to educate others so that they are doing structured workouts with proper form, and he will also make sure you accomplish your goals and beyond!
Since 2013, Cory has taught a wide array of formats (strength, conditioning, HIIT, heart-rate monitor based HIIT, indoor cycling, and yoga) and thousands of classes. Whatever your health and fitness goals might be, Coach Cory is there to help you succeed!
